The Volume of the Breast
 
There are a number of existing ways to measure breast volume but they are not implemented often due to the high cost of equipment, discomfort to the model or inaccuracy, hence this is still an area for new research. The only guaranteed way to find out the volume of a breast is to remove it, so it is only after operations such as a full mastectomy that the breast volume can be established. This article looks at various methods of identifying breast mass.
